it's not working.
it is meant to block private quicknotes, however i've used it twice and it's not working.
(next to my name it even says i'm meant to have privates off)
can someone fix this?. anthony?. natalie?

why would you want your privates off? just curious. :d
I think maybe you are doing it wrong.

/TOGPRIV Toggles between receiving and blocking of private quicknotes
/TOGPUB Toggles between receiving and blocking of public quicknotes
/TOGQN Toggles between receiving and blocking of all quicknotes
/ sign is what you have to usebefore the command no spaces.
Also, if you block private quick notes, you block them from everyone, not just desired people.
To block these, you must ignore them, but check only the quick note box if that is all you wish to ignore from them.
To do that, you go in to the account settings, and put the name of the person, then you can choose what you'd like to ignore.

I could ignore them, but it's not what I want. I just want to log in sometimes and have those messages disabled

I've never had that happen with me. then again... I never turn off privates.
It's broken for me, I turned privates off but it didn't work.
I've just confirmed this.
Typing /togpriv says that private quicknotes are disabled, but they can still be received, and not sent. So I have no idea why this issue is true for some but not for others.
Did you get the issue fixed, Stacy? I see you're premium now, so hopefully you can just be invisible. BTW, you can still send private QN's to people while you're invisible, and they can answer you, so long as you're the one that initiates a conversation.
I receive privates, even when I toggle it off. What bugs me, is people are supposed to read that we have privates off, and they still send us quicknotes. I want to send back: "Do you know what your screen reader does? Use it, and see my private quicknotes are O F F!"
Some people have to have it spelled out. That's why I just gave up turning them off. Any, sorry to ruffle feathers.

not just because of the QN thing, but also the extra anagram games
anagrams always meant a lot to me
I just have to go invisible, but it's hard, cause I still want to talk to public folks, sometimes. And people just don't get you got private qn's off, even though it says so. Kind of silly. Laughing!
